A ruined Hogwarts

Chapter 59 Three-Headed Dog

The locked door at the end of the corridor was completely open, and snow-white papers poured into the space inside the door, blocking the inside.

A huge head poked out from under the paper, shook the white paper aside, and then let out a deafening roar angrily. Immediately afterwards, two more big heads struggled out from under the paper, roaring to the sky together, seeming to be responding to each other, shaking the entire castle to rumble.

"Ouch -" Harry exclaimed in shock. This was the first time he saw such a big dog, and it also had three heads.

The big three-headed dog sniffed vigorously, with three pairs of ferocious eyes looking fiercely in the direction of Owen and Harry, who were nearest. In the three dripping mouths with drool, the yellowed dog teeth looked sharp. As for the ferocity, it is not difficult to imagine that it can bite through a person's chest in one bite.

"Perhaps it also comes with a rabies package..." Owen sat up from the pile of paper. The three-piece night travel spell on him had expired. But in fact, it doesn't matter whether they are invalid or not, because while the professors were cleaning up the white papers in the castle, they also did not forget to use magic spells to bring over the unlucky ones who were buried under the pile of paper.

The big three-headed dog roared angrily. It backed up powerfully and kicked the ground to pounce. However, as soon as its head poked out of the door, it was caught by the reins around its neck. It could only stretch its neck and roar at the door, its sticky saliva moistening the white paper around it.

"Ah, great." As soon as Owen put down the raised wand, he found that the white paper under and around him flew out of the corridor as if it had come to life. Papers floated in the air, flying out of the castle through the window like white butterflies.

Owen only had time to grab one of the pieces of paper and glance at the irregular rows of numbers neatly printed on it, and found that the corridor was empty again. The big dog with three heads slapped the ground with its paws, making a "dong dong" echo.

Professor Snape on the other end waved his wand, and the door closed with a bang, slamming back the three big heads of the big dog. Then, Owen found that his body was floating involuntarily, and he could only be dragged to the professors without any resistance. Harry was floating next to him, his glasses tilted.

Smiling awkwardly and elegantly at the sullen professors, Owen stood obediently on the edge of the corridor, standing in a row with the other students who had been captured. Opposite them, the Weasley twins were winking at each other, and the man and woman next to them had expressions of lovelessness.

"Is this what you promised, you will never be caught?" The curly-haired girl rolled her eyes and muttered softly.

More and more professors came to see the situation. Professor Flitwick made the blank sheets of paper form a human figure, and directed them to dance a beautiful waltz and quickly leave the castle; Dumbledore also came over, and he came to Professor McGonagall with a smile on his face, blue eyes translucent. He looked at the numbers on a piece of white paper curiously through his half-moon glasses. Quirrell's head, wrapped in a purple scarf, poked his head timidly outside the corridor, with the Muggle Studies professor standing next to him.

The unlucky ones who were drowned in white paper were picked up one after another by the professors. There were more than twenty little wizards who went out for night walks at night, and they were trembling in two rows. In addition, there were Filch and his cat, who looked extremely embarrassed. They had the same gnashing expression on their faces, and their protruding eyes were so wide that they seemed to fall out of their sockets.

"More than twenty students hang out in the middle of the night? Are the beds in your dormitory used as decorations?" After almost cleaning up the white paper in the corridor, Professor McGonagall took a deep breath, like an angry tiger. They shouted the same, "Twenty points will be deducted from everyone! Put them in solitary confinement! No one can escape!"

The little wizards had pale faces and slumped down in dejection. Owen silently looked up at the sky, while Harry lowered his head and looked at his toes.

"Also, who made these papers?" Professor McGonagall pursed her lips tightly and glanced sternly at everyone's face.

"I..." Owen silently raised his hand, and for a moment, everyone's eyes were focused on him.

Dumbledore's expression was interesting and a little thoughtful; Professor McGonagall's nose was twitching and her head was slightly tilted back; Professor Snape still had that unfathomable expression and his empty and indifferent eyes moved. Quirrell glanced at him quickly, then looked away erratically; Filch glared at him with bared teeth, looking deceived - Owen had told him before that he would never violate Students who follow school rules.

The Weasley twins opposite looked at Owen with astonishing admiration. Flooding the castle with white paper was not something ordinary people could do. It was a great prank, and they... wanted to do it too!

"And I..." Harry also raised his hands, lowered his head hard, and said in a voice as thin as a mosquito. Although he was worried that he would be expelled from the school, he could not help but be loyal.

Snape looked at the two of them gloomily for a moment, then revealed the matter in a smooth voice: "You two, you will be detained for a week."

"Huh -" Harry breathed a sigh of relief and cast a grateful look at his dear dean. Snape looked deeply into his eyes, and the two looked at each other "affectionately".

"So, this is pi?" Dumbledore looked at Owen with interest and shook the paper in his hand. His hands were covered with white gloves.

"Yes, Professor." Owen nodded calmly, paying attention to the gloves on the other person's hands.

"It's an interesting idea. Why would you think of asking it this?" Dumbledore's eyes were kind and sharp.

"Curious." Owen showed a gentle and perfect smile.

"Indeed, that is a magical thing." Dumbledore blinked, said with a smile, and slowly folded the paper in his hand.

"Albus, what on earth is that fax machine?" Professor McGonagall frowned. Everyone looked over curiously.

"Ah, you have to understand that I am by no means omniscient, Minerva." Dumbledore sighed with his hands behind his back, "The more you see, the more you will find that this wonderful magical world has too many mysteries."

"Okay, I think everyone should go back and rest." He said.

All the young wizards rushed to their respective common rooms as if they had been granted amnesty. The night was finally over.

On the way back to the lounge, Owen tossed his wand up and down carelessly. The black wand with smooth and graceful lines rotated in arcs in the air, and then landed steadily in his hand.

He squinted his eyes, wondering whether Dumbledore had discovered the problems caused by the Dark Guard.

"Probably not," Owen thought. Melete was able to discover the clues because the cats were born with extremely powerful perception. The innate ability of magical animals is often beyond the reach of most wizards. Unless Dumbledore had already suspected it and used magic to detect it, it would be difficult for him to find the problem in his normal state.

"Actually, it's not a bad thing to be discovered." Owen curled his lips, stopped his fingers, and held the wand firmly in his hand. It's a pity that this strangeness in him won't last long.

Beside, Harry occasionally looked behind him absentmindedly, still reluctant to let go of the Mirror of Erised. After a long time, he sighed: "Owen, have you observed the room where the big dog with three heads is? There seems to be a trap door underneath it."

"Huh? How can you observe so carefully?" Owen looked at him in surprise. Isn’t the savior a Madah?

"I'm not blind." Harry said angrily, and then said solemnly, "Do you remember that I told you that Hagrid brought something from Gringotts and put it in the castle. I doubt it. Right under the trap door!”

"Oh." Owen smiled encouragingly, "It would be nice to know what that is."

"I'll know." Harry said confidently, with a curious look on his face, "I can always find out from Hagrid."

"Then you have to work harder." Owen said with a smile. He needs insurance.
