Chapter 146 Don’t use magic! We will all die! (Please promote, please comment!)

Anakin also remembers that the basement of the orphanage was used to hold the Obscurials. But why did Mr. Colin take twelve other people into the basement with him?

Could it be that...

Anakin had an ominous guess.

Yet, even as he was filled with fear, Anakin remained determined to get to the bottom of things. He is determined to uncover this terrible mystery, no matter what the cost.

Anakin continues to look through the diary, looking for clues about Mr. Colin and the basement. As he turned the pages, he became increasingly nervous. Every word seemed to be telling him an unknown secret.

On the following pages he found some records about Mr. Colin. The diary describes the frequent appearances of Mr. Colin and other men in black robes, as well as their whereabouts in the orphanage. Anakin noticed that some strange details appeared from time to time in these records, such as Mr. Colin often quietly going to the basement late at night, and other men in black robes would also appear near the orphanage after nightfall.

Anakin turned another page and was frightened.

Because it was written over and over again in red ink:

"Magic exists! Magic exists! Magic exists!"

Anakin couldn't help but feel a chill spread down his spine. These red writings were scrawled, like blood stains, and danced strangely on the paper.

He closed the diary and paused for a moment, trying to clear his thoughts. These strange discoveries left him stressed out and he didn't know what to do next. However, his inner curiosity and desire for the truth drove him to continue searching for answers.

Taking a deep breath, Anakin reopened the diary, hoping to find more clues. He began to read each page carefully, searching for any possible clues and hints, trying to unravel all the layers of this mysterious mystery.

Turning to the next page, there are speculations about the basement:

"I found that every quarter they, those men in black robes, would gather together and go to the basement to perform some kind of ritual. Every time they came out, they would be covered in blood. I suspect that deep in the basement, there is a dark maze. Mr. Colin and other men in black robes often perform mysterious rituals here."

"Speaking of which, why is the ground shaking again now? And why do I feel a deep uneasiness again?"

Several days passed in the diary, and Anakin found a paragraph describing the basement, which made him feel downright terrified:

"Today I followed them secretly into the basement. I guessed wrongly. There were some evil rituals somewhere. Some of them were just (the writing was crossed out and cannot be distinguished). The basement was not a mysterious maze, but a darkness. .It was pitch black all around, with only the faint lights in the distance barely illuminating some vague outlines. The air was filled with musty smells, stench, and other smells that I couldn't distinguish. There was a layer of dirty straw on the ground. , many children were lying on it, wondering if they were still alive. I was too scared to stay here longer, so I ran away like a coward..."

"They seem to have discovered me. Have they discovered me? I don't know."

Anakin closed the diary tremblingly. His heartbeat was rapid and irregular, as if a huge hand was holding his heart tightly. He felt as if he was in a nightmare, but the cruel reality told him that all of this was real.

If Colin also has special respect for the other 12 people, does that mean that they are at least equal?

In other words, in addition to the current orphanage of Anakin, there are probably 12 more that have not been discovered.

Anakin felt a shiver run down his spine, filled with fear at the thought of more innocent children trapped in this horror.

So, how many kidnapped little wizards are there in the world now? How many are there who are silent?

Anakin took a deep breath and tried to stay calm. He knew now was not the time to panic, but to find solutions. He decided to sort out all the clues in the diary before discussing the next step with Dumbledore.

He reopened the diary, carefully read and recorded the contents of each page. He noticed that the activities of Colin and other men in black robes did not seem to be limited by time, and that a few orphans would disappear from time to time. Moreover, the further the text in the diary goes, the more bizarre and terrifying the situation described is.

Suddenly, Anakin's eyes stopped on a page of records. The handwriting was particularly sloppy, as if he had jotted it down quickly in a panic. A few drops of ink were splashed on the notebook, but no attempt was made to erase it:

"Mr. Colin has an old register with many names on it. Some names I know and some I have never heard of. Some names have a small mark behind them, as if they are a unique symbol. I don't know what it means. But I noticed that the marked names seemed to be at the front of the booklet, and the names at the front were all marked like this, and the owners of those names seemed to have disappeared."

"However, I found that my name was also on it, about 20 names away from the last mark..."

Anakin felt heavy in his heart. How could he not know what those names represented? It is nothing more than a list of people who have become Obscurials.

However, even though there were so many names on the list, there were only more than twenty Obscurans who besieged Anakin and Dumbledore at that time, and the fate of the others was self-evident.

As he read further, he found a description of Mr. Colin's plan:

"Mr. Colin seems to be planning a huge conspiracy. He wants to use the power in the basement to achieve some purpose. He often goes to the basement late at night to conspire with other men in black robes. I don't know what they are planning, But I can feel that none of this is simple.”

Anakin frowned tightly, feeling an unprecedented sense of urgency. You know, Colin's goal was to attack Hogwarts. Although he was caught, if 12 other people also knew about this plan, then Hogwarts would be in danger.

After turning over a few more pages, the handwriting began to become more and more ferocious:

"We will all die, no one will be spared! It's just a matter of morning and evening! Those missing children... they are all dead! They all use magic, and they all explode into black dust in the end. !Don't use magic! Don't use magic! Don't use magic..."

Anakin's heart was shaken, and he could almost feel the despair and fear contained in that text.

So... is this why I became the Obscurial?
