John Constantine felt that he had witnessed some kind of historical moment that was not worth showing off.

Or maybe time has long since ceased to exist, or maybe time is just the scattered dark ink.

They spread out from the center, and what the three swords chopped didn't seem to be the entire universe. It was like the black egg white flowing out of a broken egg. They divided the space, like butterfly wings.

Diana has disappeared, and the only person left by Constantine's side is Lucifer Morningstar.

Constantine glanced at the path extending under his feet. His shadow merged with the path, but he could still make out the outline of the human figure. However, the dark outline sometimes split into countless threads as it swayed.

"The universe was born in destruction, I think I should tell you this." Lucifer's hands fell easily on the sides of his white suit, and he looked at the strange and spectacular scenery in front of him very calmly.

Lucifer's shadow has now disappeared, or maybe he has no shadow at all.

Constantine was unsure of this answer, because he had not paid attention to the shadow of Satan in front of him. He ignored this.

But instinct made Constantine feel that Lucifer and the darkness seemed to be one.

Lucifer just stood on the dark path, looking at the center of the dividing point in front of him.

There seemed to be a fiery heart beating there, or perhaps it was a newly born star, emitting vigorous heat and light trying to break through the darkness.

But that force is still very weak, and it can only struggle.

The throbbing of primitive life also attracted Constantine, and he didn't know if that was the direction he was going.

"Be careful, Constantine. Every choice you make, every breath you take, every tiny fluctuation in your thoughts will have a possible result, and that result will become a monotonous note, an imperceptible Threads, until all the notes converge into a grand sonata, until all the threads twist into complex and changeable stories." Lucifer said elegantly and calmly, "This is what you mortals call time, it is not something that can be understood directly It exists, it is omnipresent, it is in the great darkness of eternity, it is the first constraint after light. Now you see time, and we take a shortcut through the chaotic thought of the nascent universe."

Great Darkness.

Constantine seems to have read this name without any definition from some extremely evil classics.

This seems to be just one aspect of contradiction and opposition in philosophical thought, but what Lucifer said seems to clarify the true existence of great darkness.

Time seems to be a path back there.

"Why are we here? Where is Diana?" Constantine found that there was no cigarette in his pocket. This was depressing news, perhaps more than the darkness where he was standing with nothing. Sadly, "You took advantage of her. Why did the baby universe have to be cut open in this and that miracle territory? I don't think you were just trying to attract the attention of some gods, right?"

"Come on, Constantine." Lucifer did not explain directly. Instead, he stepped forward and walked. "We still need to accompany each other until the fork in the road. You will see everything under my guidance."

Although Constantine was extremely frightened, he still stood still and did not move.

"Why should I believe you? Don't mention that nonsense about you not knowing how to lie! You can fool other guys, but it's of no use to me!" Constantine held the shriveled cigarette case in his pocket, his eyes wary. Then he stared at Lucifer's back slyly, "You also said that this place is like a jelly solidified by time. If I stir it at will, I will create countless parallel realities. If my ideas are bad, some of them will One bad step, and these realities will turn into hell! And now you want to use some of the facts you think are true to confuse me and manipulate me to weave the results you want. I'm not fucking stupid, Lucifer .You can kill me! But don’t try to play around with me like a little brat!”

Lucifer stopped, and turned his head slightly, his face under the blond hair still showed no emotional changes, "You can't change anything, Constantine, because you can't be saved, you will always choose the path that allows you to live. This is also the reason why Chen Yu came to you, your constantness is exactly what he and I need, like an anchor."

"I don't fucking know that Chen Yu!" Constantine yelled a little madly, "Diana also mentioned this name! But it's obviously not me he's looking for! Or it's not my parallel. Me in reality! What he is looking for...oh...uh...well..."

Constantine's voice weakened, he frowned, and his eyes kept rolling.

He thought quickly, and he seemed to begin to understand something.

Lucifer did not interrupt, he waited silently, he was not anxious at all, he knew that Constantine would think of the truth.

Everything he has experienced is why he can reach the truth.

"I've been used by every one of them." Constantine finally said in disbelief, "I've been used for a long time! When one of them I was targeted by that Chen Yu! When I was brought here by Diana What a hell! When you let that stinky bitch cut open this new universe! I was standing at the fucking origin! I was even traveling against time!"

Constantine finally discovered the root of all the problems.

He finally knew why he was brought here.

"At least give me a pack of cigarettes." Constantine reached out to Lucifer, his voice trembling, because he knew what he would experience and see in the road ahead, and what choices he would have to make.

There's always a damn choice to make, and there's always a trap waiting for you!

Lucifer actually handed over a box of silk cards.

Constantine took it in his hand politely. He took out a cigarette and smelled it, then looked at it again. Finally, he held the cigarette with two fingers and brought it to his mouth.

He didn't put it directly into his mouth, but he hesitated.

Constantine turned his head, and all he saw was the boundless darkness spreading out like a pitch-black butterfly's wings.

Everything was silent.

"Damn it, start now!" Constantine finally lit up his cigarette, took steps forward, and followed Lucifer.

The two of them just started walking on the silent dark path.

As he moved forward, Constantine immediately discovered that there was not everything here.

He saw the shadow of a forest, as well as strange ghosts and fluorescence in the shadow.

Life is still not dead.

"You are the first spark of thought here, Constantine." Lucifer said calmly, "You started the stories of these lives."

"I saw it..." Constantine looked at the fluorescent light flying in the dark jungle, "Oh my god..."
